How to choose an inverter?
1. Determine the battery voltage and capacity?
If your battery output voltage is 12V, you need to choose a 12V inverter. The battery capacity directly affects the capacity of the charger. The larger the battery capacity, the more appliances you can carry.
For example, 12V battery * 60AH capacity * 0.8 conversion rate + 576W and below can be charged.
2. What appliances can be carried?
Appliances are divided into resistive loads and inductive loads.
Resistive appliances:
Home appliances such as computers, TVs, fans, and electric lights.
Inductive appliances:
Refrigerators, washing machines, juicers, hand drills, water pumps, sanders, etc.
Resistive appliances have no starting power, while inductive appliances have starting power, which is generally 3 to 7 times the starting power.
Therefore, it is necessary to determine whether the appliance used is a resistive appliance or an inductive appliance.
Common problems and solutions
Inverter does not respond
1. The battery and inverter are connected incorrectly, please reconnect.
2. The battery polarity is reversed and the fuse is blown. Please replace the fuse.
Low output voltage
1. Overload, the load current exceeds the rated current, please turn off part of the load and restart.
2. The input voltage is too low. Please make sure that the input voltage is within the rated voltage range.
Low voltage alarm
1. The battery is dead and needs to be charged.
2. If the battery voltage is too low or the contact is poor, please charge the battery, check the battery terminals, or clean the terminals with a dry cloth.
No output from the inverter
1. The battery voltage is too low, please charge or replace the battery.
2. If the load current is too high, please turn off part of the load and restart the inverter.
3. Inverter overtemperature protection. Please let the inverter cool down for a while and place it in a well-ventilated place.
4. If the inverter cannot start, please restart.
5. If the terminals are reversed and the fuse is blown, please replace the fuse.
Inverter does not work
1. Check the power switch, fuse, battery connection cable or smoke.
